  • OVERVIEW OF TAPIOCA STARCH
“Tapioca Starch” or “Cassava Starch” is the main ingredient of cassava. It is extracted from the tuber (root) of the cassava plant. It is one of the major commercial starches in the global market, ranking second after corn starch.

  • APPLICATIONS OF TAPIOCA STARCH
→ Food Industry: Including dry products such as rice paper, tapioca starch, vermicelli, noodles, shrimp paste, banh canh, malt, fat powder, instant noodles, alcohol, seasoning powder, MSG.
→ Paper Industry: Tapioca starch is used as a filler or surface coating for some types of paper and cardboard.
→ Construction materials industry: Producing gypsum ceiling panels, increasing cohesion for clay and limestone, and making additives for paint.

Tapioca Starch is a fine white starch product extracted 100% from fresh cassava roots.

  • Tapioca starch does not dissolve in cold water. When placed in water at an appropriate temperature (60℃ - 70℃), the structure of the starch granules breaks down, forming a thick gel solution, also known as starch gelatinization. This process is applied in various fields not only in food but also in many other industries.
  • Among the naturally used flours that have high commercial value, tapioca starch stands out with many superior advantages. Currently, the market shows a significant growth demand for tapioca starch worldwide.
